Elementary Division (2nd - 4th)

The Elementary Division provides students in grades two through four with individualized attention during the critical years of skill acquisition. The faculty is dedicated to differentiated instruction so that each student is appropriately engaged and challenged. Students actively participate in all aspects of their day, and gain confidence through speaking and sharing lessons with the class. Students create portfolios to track progress in writing and editing skills. Scholastic challenge is balanced with continuous encouragement and recognition of each student’s effort.

Interdisciplinary studies combine exciting lessons in language arts, mathematics, social studies, and science topics to help students make meaningful connections and enhance retention of the core curricular units of study. Students are guided to take the responsibility for the organization and completion of their assignments in preparation for the advanced program that awaits them in Middle School.

All students enjoy the enrichment of weekly classes in art, performing arts, technology, and library.   Students benefit from daily physical education classes and learn a variety of skills from our “fitness for life” curriculum. Spanish classes emphasize building strong vocabulary and conversation skills.
